国际IUCN资深专家桑赛尔先生考察龟峰 2009年1月14日下午，国际IUCN资深专家桑赛尔先生来到龟峰风景名胜区进行考察。陪同考察的有：昆明理工大学教授梁永宁，中国丹霞申遗办副主任王晓良，省建设厅副巡视员曾绍平，省建设厅规划处副处长丁新权，中国地质环境监测院副总工程师何庆成，省地调院副院长、教授级高工尹国胜，弋阳县县委书记程观焰，弋阳县政府县长张志坚，弋阳县委常委、统战部部长陈康，弋阳县人民政府副县长袁飞，弋阳县政府县长助理、龟峰管委会党工委书记张国庆，龟峰管委会主任杨荣成等。在考察中，桑赛尔先生先后来到了龟峰风景名胜区的神龟迎宾、桂花园、老人峰、将军楼、好汉坡等景点，对龟峰秀丽的山水表示出浓厚的兴趣。桑赛尔先生还认真听取了龟峰申遗过程以及今后工作的汇报后，对龟峰申报世界自然遗产所做的工作予以了充分的肯定。指出：龟峰，是一处典型的丹霞地貌，自然景观卓绝，人文历史悠久，文化底蕴耐人回味。希望龟峰能够继续努力，务实工作，积极发挥在申遗过程中的主要作用，争取早日加入世界自然遗产大家庭。
